It’s 2015, the year of the hoverboard and power laces. In honor of that, I’ve made a new website with a great default WordPress theme! I’ll likely change this as the year goes on, but for now, enjoy. I’ll be moving all the podcast episodes over and re-posting them, so be sure to update your RSS feeds or whatever you’re using. I think this also calls for finally putting the podcast up on iTunes.
We dig deep into Star Trek logic, I talk at length about why Diablo III isn’t bad anymore, we try to come up with a new name for the podcast. And… wait for it… Batman.
It’s our last episode of 2014. We go over hot button topics like, fifteen year old JRPGs, The Interview vs. North Korea, Batman, and I talk William into discussing game of the year stuff.
I remember to intro the show this time. We talk about Shadow of Mordor, black storm troopers, and William confuses two French game developers. Also, I try to not throw up as we talk about Terminator.
A longer than average episode, but we cut to the chase and hit the Batman talk right out of the gate. We also get around to some video games as William starts playing Dragon Age: Origins just in time for the second sequel to come out. We also talk about the downfall of the sitcom, and things get real when we complain about our Facebook friends and net neutrality.
Talking points: Syfy original movies, Batman, awkward raps, and I think there was something about a video game.
We finally talk about some new games we’ve played. We do terrible impressions of Marlon Brando. And then my brother crushes my hopes and dreams. Also, Batman?
We’ve got special guest Alex Swaim, creator of video-game-foliage.tumblr.com, a blog dedicated to the flora of video games. We talk about social media, how many people were in Oceans 11, Disney remakes, and our favorite Christmas movies.
We discuss Space Engineers and the Destiny Beta. I decide we should introduce a new segment called Shake Breaks. Something about streaming media. All Hail Google.
We talk about terrible 70s cartoons, the Steam sale, eSports!, and only a little bit of Batman.
